My work is a blend of many different modalities. I use visual assessment and questions directed to you to find out what specifically needs to be done to gain the most from our bodywork session. The following describes the most common modalities used: Swedish massage is characterized by the use of lotion or oil to allow gliding strokes over the skin. The strokes are done toward the heart with the goal of improving blood and lymphatic flow. Most commonly used for relaxation and improving well-being. Myo-fascial Release is an effective hands-on technique that uses sustained pressure to reduce restrictions in the connective tissue system.
This method is effectively used to eliminate pain, restore motion and change shape and structure of soft tissue. Deep-Tissue: In general terms deep tissue is a generalized classification of many different types of work that all have one thing in common... depth of pressure. Almost all deep tissue forms of massage therapy have a specific treatment goal in mind.
Craniosacral Therapy is a gentle non-invasive therapy that modifies and corrects restrictions in the Craniosacral system. The Craniosacral system is a physiological system that has membranes which surround the central nervous system. Corrections are made through the use of light touch, time, energy and intention.

Smooth river rocks that have been heated and oiled will be used to release tension and to rejuvenate sore and fatigued muscles. The rocks bring in the element of Earth and will leave you feeling grounded and at peace.
